HBCU Football Playoff events, while raising the profile of HBCU football, is designed to promote higher education to urban youth through exposure to college and career readiness programming resulting in admittance and scholarship awards.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the participating universities (HBCU NCAA Div. I football programs), both the United Negro College Fund and Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
The HBCU Football Playoff is designed to showcase HBCU Football in state of the art stadiums across the country while connecting urban communities to the game of football and HBCUs.
